Our goal is to provide the membership educational programs & promote CFM studies, opportunities for growth & development to the FM profession via interchange between industry and academia, and coordination of ideas & information between chapter members & the UCI facility certification program.
Programs Purpose: Develops, plans, and coordinates monthly programs for our general meetings that include topics pertinent to the FM, speakers, venues, and food. Tours are also arranged to expose our membership to different facility solutions in the OC area

Our members benefit from career consultation, ongoing education, professional credentials, recognition and guidance for every step of their facility management career. No matter what their level of experience, level of management, level of knowledge or skills, IFMA's offerings can provide them with the educational programming they need to succeed.
Our goal is to provide the membership with informative, fun, and responsive information through clear and consistent communication on our web site and other media. We also strive to spread the benefits of IFMA to the FM community at large to assist the continual effort of building an ever stronger Association.
Hospitality Purpose: Monthly meets to develop idea & action steps to enhance & oster a 'warm and friendly' atmosphere at the monthly general meetings and other special events, introduces & acts as our chapter ambassadors for new and existing members.
Membership Purpose: Identify and recruit new members to the OC IFMA Chapter and welcome all new members by phone, email and invitation to a "new members" luncheon held two times a year.
Sponsorship Purpose:The committee solicits and monitors sponsorships activities & approved fund raising events to ensure that functions are planned & carried out in a professional & fiscally sound manner. Review all requests for sponsorships & make recommendations that support IFMA OC philosophy and goals.
Library Purpose:To create a permanent depository of the Chapter's historical documents, awards, records and memorabilia from previous for the purpose of presevation and for our members' use.To provide resource materials in one central location for our Chapter members to utilize in order to support their professional education and development.
WESTFAC Purpose: The Westfac committee's purpose is to promote the OC IFMA chapter, recruit new members, and provide continuing education to our exisitng members. The two day tradeshow held at the Anaheim Convention Center will feature an exhibit hall, and edcuational sessions with an emplhasis on "green' practices within our organizations. IFMA will host a booth in the exhibit hall, and will promote key speakers in the breakout sessions.
