FACILITY FUSION
IFMA volunteer leaders from around the world met in Chicago this year for Facility Fusion. Sessions presented Best Practices, covering topics on a broad spectrum from running an IFMA Chapter or Council to sustainability; from facility management to leadership. The attendance was the best ever in the three year run of this event and reviews from attendees were extremely positive. Next year, Fusion will be held in Los Angeles. . .our own back yard. The chapter has been asked to help organize and manage this event in 2013; so, anyone interested in being part of a great IFMA gathering, keep tuned to the slice of Orange.
The conference is scheduled for April 2-4, 2013. The theme will center around Redefining Facility Management and the program focus will be on change management. The Call for Presentations ended in September, but there may still be room on the EXPO Floor for exhibitors.
The best way the Chapter can help is to get the word out and encourage attendance. It should be a great event and it is, literally, right up the road. Please check out the website and make sure to your calendar.
